JASSIM, THE CHIVALROUS

Dedicated to the esteemed Qatari artist Jassim Mohamed Zaini, Jassim, The Chivalrous pays homage to his artistic legacy, particularly his depictions of Arabian horses and equestrian traditions. Inspired by two of Zaini’s artworks, this high-back bench captures the essence of Qatar’s deep-rooted equestrian culture, symbolizing strength, grace, and historical continuity. Constructed from solid frake timber with brass inlays, the bench embodies Zaini’s signature realism, which chronicled Qatar’s social and cultural transformations during the mid-20th century.
