Inspired by Qamariya, one of the most captivating decorative features of traditional Qatari architecture, this circular-back bench draws from the centuries-old craft of gypsum latticework. The term Qamariya originates from the Arabic word qamar (moon), as these ornamental windows were designed to allow moonlight to filter through while maintaining privacy. This bench captures the essence of this architectural element, blending tradition with contemporary aesthetics.
