A monumental tribute to Qatar’s rich cultural and architectural heritage, Tafaseel from Qatar (2016–2019) is a 7-meter-long wall art installation meticulously crafted from solid aluminum. This masterpiece serves as a comprehensive visual narrative, encapsulating three years of artistic exploration by Bachir Mohamad, spanning from traditional Qatari architecture to heritage crafts and artistic motifs.
Designed as a celebration of Qatar’s identity, the piece intricately weaves together elements from the artist’s most significant works, forming a tapestry of tradition, history, and craftsmanship. Every detail reflects the essence of Qatari heritage, creating a festive homage to the nation’s artistic and architectural legacy.
Originally produced in 2019 as part of Tafaseel 3.0, this limited-edition installation has since been acquired by Al Fardan Hospitality and incorporated into its distinguished art collection. To honor its new home, the artist refinished the piece in a striking antique gold, enhancing its grandeur while maintaining its deep cultural significance.
More than just an artwork, Tafaseel from Qatar (2016–2019) is a statement of preservation, ensuring that Qatar’s local heritage continues to be recognized, celebrated, and cherished for generations to come.
